Juan has been with L2L since its inception and is a member of the arbitral committee. “What I like about L2L is that it is a hands-on organisation. Not only do we provide people in need with assistance, but are actually involved on a personal level with the individuals. Despite having a demanding work schedule and a family, I try to dedicate as much time as I can to help. The work that L2L does is important and meaningful, in particular in the present times.”
She has been a core L2L team member since the very beginning, and is in charge of our VHS German Course Scholarship. “I’m in the fortunate situation in which i can help people. Honestly, I don’t put much thought into it, i just do it.”
She is our social media manager and makes sure our projects are documented and placed on our social media platforms. When asked why she joined L2L, she stated: “I’ve chosen to support L2L because this NGO truly gives 100% to all of their projects and is something I am proud to work for.”
We are proud to announce that we have been featured in the latest Red Cross “Flüchtlingshilfe” magazine! Thank you Wiener Rotes Kreuz for believing in us and supporting what we do and helping our voice and cause be heard.
She first started helping L2L last year with the food distribution, and now since July, she teaches German to our refugees twice a week. “I was born to help. I have helped my whole life, and will hopefully continue to do so the rest of my life.”
This Saturday, our L2L team has been able to partner again with our Caspian restaurant friends and serve delicious ghormesabzi during our weekly food distribution. We here at L2L feel very thankful for all the support and helping hands we get!
